Suspected on Robbing Saloon.

Detective Short and Patrolman Ward of the Fifth Precinct, yesterday arrested John Murtha, aged 18 years, and William Slavin, of 50 South Fifth street, on suspicion of having broken into Charles Grow's saloon at 81 South Sixth street some hours previously, and stolen two bottles of whisky and a box of cigars. The cigars were found under a plank in the South Sixth street dock. Justice Nasher held the accused for examination.
