Mrs. Catharine Slavin, 50 years old, and her daughter Kittie Slavin, 25 years old, were arraigned in the Gates avenue court this morning on the charge of intoxication. Kittie, who only yesterday came out of the Kings County hospital, waqs arrested by Patrol Herbert Duffy while in the company of a motorman, whose name is not known. It was found that she had a bank book with $400 to her credit in her possession at the time.
The mother was arrested some time later by Patrolman Meagher at the corner of Halsey street and Patchen avenue. Both mother and daughter were locked up in the Ralph avenue station house and arraiagned in court this morning. They pleaded guilty. Sentence was suspended and they were allowed to go to their home.
